Business Development Manager

A dynamic, rapidly expanding OEM cable assembly Manufacturer seeks the following:





  • 10+ years of Sales Management experience in a custom cable assembly environment as well as technical product understanding.
  • A proven record of success in sales, account management, new business development, negotiation, and obtaining consistent sales growth.
  • Increase overall sales through improved account penetration at existing customers, and focus on developing and growing target accounts. Exceed annual sales targets.
  • Provide focused management, support, and continuous improvement of the sales process including enabling tools, training, development & incentives to ensure high performance, and increase effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Outstanding sales leadership, revenue generation, and strategic growth planning and implementation.
  • Understand customer needs and provide solutions that create customer value, and negotiate with customers to close deals.
  • Skilled in handling complex Customer issues and exercising a high level of tact and diplomacy.
  • A high degree of professionalism, detail, productivity, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
  • Bachelors Degree.




  • Overall responsibility for Customer relationship management.
  • Recruit, train, and direct Sales Representatives monitoring account penetration and providing guidance to improve sales performance.
  • Manage Sales Representatives providing the necessary tools, technical support, and encouragement. Evaluate and monitor the sales representative’s progress and performance.
  • Establish clear sales objectives and monitor performance towards objectives, taking remedial action where necessary.
  • Provide Executive Management strategic business plans, analysis, and reports, while continuing to look for strategic sales opportunities.
  • Oversee the acceptance, review, acknowledgment, and management of quotations, sales orders, and change orders.
  • Develop strong and positive relationships with existing customers and sales representatives.
  • Drive measured improvements in the effectiveness and efficiency of the selling processes.
  • Coordinate new opportunities and new programs with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing, ensuring timely responses to Sales Representatives and Customers.
