Job Description:


This  position is a critical supporting role in developing and ultimately delivering accurate and timely quotations to customers. The qualified candidate will have a direct
impact on the success of projects by meeting or exceeding customer and company expectations in terms of cost and lead-time reduction.

 

 

Requirements:

 

* Experience in creating and understanding Bill of materials and AVL list.
* Experience in manufacturing process labor time estimation (Cable /wire harness preferred)
* Experience in submitting RFQs to vendors and organizing the vendor responses into databases or worksheets.
* Experience in aggressively negotiating pricing and obtaining quotations and/or purchasing connectors, terminals, wires, cables, shrink tubing and various other cable
   assembly products.
* Experience in generating quotes or job estimates in a cable assembly, electronics and/or electro-mechanical manufacturing environment is a plus.
* Experience in internet electronics components sourcing.
* Familiar and be able to read blueprints, manufacturer’s data sheets/spec sheets, 
* Proficient with Excel, Word, database functions and data entry.
* Must be able to work well both independently and as part of a cross-functional team, including multi-tasking. Capabilities.
* Must be detail oriented with the ability to meet or exceed deadlines.
* Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills.
* Familiarity with RoHS, REACH and UL standards.

 

 

Responsibilities:


* Daily Interfacing with the electronics distribution chain and manufacturers.
* Work closely internally with Sales, Engineering and Purchasing Departments to develop on-time proposals with the greatest value to both the customer and the company.
* Validating quotations through various methods including verbal and written correspondence, engineering verification and research.
* Follow up with outstanding sales proposals in order to win purchase orders from customers.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

* 1+ years Quotation experience (OEM wire, cable and connectors) on a full time basis.
* Bachelor in Mechanical/Electrical engineering with no experience may apply for this job.
* Compensation:  $20 to $28.00 per hour based on the knowledge and experience.
